On this 5 day NCSC Assured Training Open-Source Intelligence Practitioner course, delegates will immerse in a series of comprehensive topics and case studies delivered in an engaging online format.

Legalities and Legislation

  • Understanding what legislations and legal frameworks exist, and are applicable when conducing OSINT investigations to ensure you operate legally, responsibly and ethically.

 

Intelligence Fundamentals

  • Correct and effective application of the Intelligence Cycle, Intelligence Frameworks and Structured Analytical Techniques (SATs) in order to make sense of collected information.

  • How to effectively establish Priority Intelligence Requirements (PIRs), triage collection efforts and produce accurate and actionable intelligence reports and products.

 

Geospatial and Geopolitical Analysis

  • Gain an understanding of how to utilise Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) in an OSINT context, exploiting and analysing physical features and geographically referenced activities.

  • Understand the impacts and considerations of geopolitical global events on OSINT activities and practices.

 

Techniques and Tradecraft

  • How to effectively manage covert accounts without leaving a digital footprint and obfuscating user activity that could cripple an investigation.

  • Utilising Artificial Intelligence to automate data collection to improve accuracy and efficiency.

 

Dark Web Analysis

  • Navigating The Onion Router (TOR) and how to conduct comprehensive dark web research safely to uncover hidden threats.

  • Exploration of a range of Dark Web sources, platforms and tools to streamline collection and research efforts.

 

Advanced Search and Tracking

  • Gain a skillset to search for people using advanced techniques, exploring non-mainstream platforms and tools.

  • How to conduct business investigations, and effective analysis of corporate structures and financial health.

  • The ability to track and analyse aviation, maritime and vehicle OSINT activities, using practical exercises to develop understanding.

  • How to conduct cryptocurrency investigations and gaining an understanding of the Blockchain.

 

In order to complete the Seiber OSINT Practitioner course you will be required to sit an online 40 multiple choice question exam (to be sat at a time of your choosing upon completion of the course).

 

The pass rate is a minimum of 65% correctly answered.

 

Upon successful completion of the exam, you will become recognised as an APMG Accredited OSINT Practitioner, inclusive with a signed certificate and digital badge to demonstrate your commitment to CPD.
